ORVAS DREN
So, you think House Hlaalu is just an Imperial puppet? Shows what you know. Who really runs House Hlaalu? Not the house council. Those posers do what Orvas Dren tells them. Orvas Dren is the Camonna Tong kingpin. And one day, when the time is right, Orvas Dren, the Camonna Tong, and all right-thinking Dunmer will rise up, murder you outlanders in your beds, and restore Morrowind to its ancient glory. - Little secret by Camonna Tong members

Orvas Dren is the Kingpin of Camonna Tong, and his ID is "Orvas Dren Druglord". You can find him on the Dren Plantation, which is a netch farm, where he resides in the Dren Villa. Orvas is the brother of Duke Vedam Dren, whom he is secretly plotting to kill (more about that below), and although he's not officially a Hlaalu Council member, the two councilors Velanda Omani and Nevena Ules never make a move without consulting him first. It is said that on his plantation, the slaves suffer the most and he has hired bounty hunters to track down escaped slaves and all who help them.

Orvas is a fit warrior and wears Orcish armor and wields an ebony spear. On the shelf behind him there are pieces of Indoril armor (cuirass and helmet) and there is no knowing how he acquired it. Well equipped and even stronger, Galos Farethi patrols the villa for him. In the basement, there is a secret room where the Ienith brothers, the top enforcers of the Camonna Tong, are hiding.

During the Hlaalu Hortator quest it is revealed that he has been contacted by Dagoth Ur and been given an offer. If you give him an answer he does not approve of, this is what he says:

You want peace? Like the peace of the grave we've had since the Tribunal betrayed us and signed the Armistice? Dagoth Ur has made me a better offer. The Sixth House will rise again and crush the Empire and those smug hypocrites in the Tribunal. But enough talk. I know you now as my enemy, and you must die with the rest of the foreign devils. - Orvas Dren

Someone who has the power to cleanse the land of outlanders very likely sounds like a promising ally to the Camonna Tong. The offer, as far as I can see, consists of Dagoth Ur and Orvas forming a pact, provided that Camonna Tong helps the Sixth House smuggle out ash statues all over the island. There are ash statues in a chest in the Dren villa, namely in the hidden basement room where the Ienith brothers hang out, and crates of ash statues are frequently encountered in smuggler dens. With these, Dagoth Ur's influence spreads as more and more people get "bad dreams" and become Sleepers. I believe that especially the remaining descendants of House Dagoth will respond to the signal and wander to the nearest shrine to contract the Divine Disease (corprus) and begin their transformation.

However, it's not impossible to persuade Orvas Dren to listen to you instead, if you promise to protect Morrowind from the Empire.

I have long believed it was a mistake to turn from the old gods. Perhaps Azura is with you after all. And perhaps not. I will tell you that I've spoken with Dagoth Ur. He promised me the same thing. That he will drive the foreigners from our lands. But I am not one to ignore opportunity, nor am I one to be troubled by rubbing two sides of a coin. If you are a %PCRace of your word, I am your ally. I will tell Velanda Omani and Nevena Ules to support you as Hortator of House Hlaalu.- Orvas Dren

THE IENITH BROTHERS
Navil Ienith is an agent and Ranes Ienith is an assassin. These two brothers are the best enforcers of the Camonna Tong and live in a hidden room in the Dren Villa. Normally only Navil can be found, since Ranes is only activated once you get into combat with either Navil or Galos Farethi, the guard. You are ordered to kill them both by Morag Tong and Thieves Guild. A letter can be found in a locked chest their room, which has the order to kill Duke Vedam Dren. This letter can later be used to blackmail Orvas Dren.

Ranes and Navil,

You have served me well over the years. My brother has been trying to stop our business. We've lost over half our shipments recently. The Duke may be my brother, but if he keeps interfering I am afraid he must be killed. I will be next in line and can consolidate my power before the Redorans even come up with a candidate. I am telling you this so that you know the risks you may be taking. If you are unwilling, I will accept your word of honor not to speak of our business. If you stay, I will reward you.

Hides-His-Foot, an Argonian slave, knows about this plot and that is why you are sent to free him by the Twin Lamps.

I delivered a message to his assassins, Ranes and Navil Ienith. The message was a plot to kill his brother, Duke Vedam Dren. This message is in the basement of Dren's Villa, behind two locked and trapped doors, in a small chest on a bookshelf. If you ever need to influence Orvan Dren, this book would be ideal. - Hides-His-Foot

Interestingly, there is a journal entry (HH_WinCamonna) that does not quite correspond with reality:

Hides-His-Foot told me that Orvas Dren has a hidden room in his manor which has evidence that might persuade Orvas Dren. Nalvilie Saren has a key to this room.

Nalvilie Saren has no dialogue for this and there is no key to be found in her house. I have no idea what she would have been doing with the Ienith brothers, apart from maybe having sex with them. More info about this NPC: [link]

LLAYNASA OTHRAN
The first of the two NPCs holding a rank second to Orvas Dren himself, Llaynasa Othran, is a smuggler who is apparently supervising the Gro-Bagrat plantation. On the outside, this is a netch ranch, but on the inside it is a Skooma factory. There, the alchemist and Camonna Tong Bully Velsa Salaron is locked up in the basement with alchemical equipment, refining Moon Sugar to Skooma. The basement door is guarded by two massive Orcs: Dreggs and Gakkenfeld. Gurak Gro-Bagrat himself is in the basement with Salaron, should the others fail to keep invaders out.

Gurak gro-Bagrat, netch rancher, horticulturist, and smuggler, lives just north of the bridge from the Vivec Foreign Quarter to the mainland. Everyone knows he smuggles skooma, but he's got friends in the Legion, and Camonna Tong protection, so no one will touch him. Perhaps it is wrong, but I steal willow anther from the willow flowers he grows outside his manor. Be careful. Gurak gro-Bagrat is a dangerous criminal. Under NO circumstances enter his home. Do NOT try to speak to him. - Synnolian Tunifus

RELAM ARINITH
Relam Arinith is the second of the two NPCs holding a rank second to Orvas Dren himself. He is a smuggler who is located in Fatleg's Drop Off in Hla Oad. There, in the large underground cave, he seems to be in charge of the shipping of smuggled goods that have ended up in this huge storage, though sadly I found no incriminating crates or goods anywhere. However, they had enough moon sugar to think it was worthwhile to make a Khajiit slave swallow bags of it. Relam wants you to escort this slave to Vorar Helas, a smuggler in Balmora.

Yeah, just a little unfinished business between Vorar Helas and me. I owe him big for a deal we made a while ago. Rabinna here ought to pay for my side of the bargain, and more. There's a lot of money in some of these slaves. You interested in the work?

An interesting fact is that Vorar Helas has a Dwemer tube in his house that would have been used as proof in an abandoned Legion quest by Imsin the Dreamer. In the finished game it is instead Drinar Varyon in Ald'ruhn you frame in an almost identical quest. The dialogue is the same. The only difference is the name and location you are sent to. So, Vorar Helas smuggles Dwemer artifacts, just like Drinar Varyon. While Drinar probably sends his smuggled goods forward to Gnaar Mok, Vorar sends his to Hla-Oad.

In a Thieves Guild quest, the Khajiit smugger Ra-Zhid has stolen Dwemer artifacts from the guild and tries to sell them off at Fatleg's Drop Off.

Hey, I noticed you like TES and writing :) Maybe you'd be interested in joining a Skyrim roleplay site?

It's not my site, so if you have any questions, you'll probably get more accurate information from one of the admins ^_^

Oh, and your art is gorgeous! I especially like how you draw faces - it's a very daring, confident style. Keep the good work up!

Oh thanks :) I'm already a member of a small TES roleplaying forum and at times I'm really bad at keeping up with posting so I don't dare join another one :XD: Also, I haven't been able to play Skyrim since my gaming computer broke in the beginning of December *cries* I'll get the new parts for it soon though.

I started rewatching Highlander: The Animated Series last year since I remembered watching it as a kid. I didn't quite finish though. :XD: But, yes you might say that I'm a fan. I think Malone is adorable at least.
