This hurts! (Not emo, just self-improvement)

If you're not the least interested in either my life or how to improve a bad posture you shouldn't read this :XD:

I've had some reminders that my neck is in really bad shape the last weeks. I can't look up or over my shoulder properly and when I'm lying on my back I'm sometimes choking on something unknown. Yesterday I woke up with a real ache. I've been told that it's unfixable and I've had this vulture neck-thingy ever since I was quite little, so has the majority my family. I thought it was some genetic shit I'd never get rid of, but then I decided to google it for the first time (weird that I didn't do it earlier).

It seems the problem actually lies in my hips, not in my neck. If I manage to straighten up my hip the muscles will adjust accordingly with time and make a better foundation for my poor spine and it will eventually take effect on my neck. I stood against a wall and noticed how impossible it was to stand straight against it :D After some adjusting I found out how to make the hip a bit straighter and noticed a slight improvement in how I could touch the surface with more of my back.

Then I tried to walk like that for a couple of minutes. My muscles burned from start. It was the right muscles, though, so I think it will work. I'll probably get some muscle pain from this practice, but that's nothing compared to how silly I'm starting to look in profile. I'll join the ministry of silly walks for a while, but that's worth it. Besides, I could gain a full inch from this to add to my 166 centimeters. :D Me want!

I have a new office chair that gives me the support I need, so that's already fixed.

Apart from the hip thingie I'm thinking of buying a skipping rope. That should do some work on all of my body. Walking doesn't seem to help much. Also, I have to quit coffee in the long run if I want to add more calcium to my diet without risking more kidney stones. That's the sad truth. In the end I'd like to have enough energy of my own to get a boost from tea only. I take out the bags before it turns bitter. That bitterness is what mixes with calcium to make kidney stones after all.

Just letting you know, some of us are starting a Morrowind Role Play Forum if you're interested: [link]

You can play any of your PCs and/or any unclaimed NPCs. It's just starting out, but it ought to be fun! :excited:
:D I've signed up!

Yay! That's great! :-D

Re: Eno Hlaalu, my husband originally offered to play him, but will let you play him if you want to since you obviously like him more. Just let us know! I guess it depends on how you feel you write him. It took me about a week of contemplating to even START to figure out how to write Baladas (since I am such a fanatic for him) but nowadays I happen to think I'm actually quite good at it (not that I'm prejudice of course). It now totally perplexes me when other people write him.

:iconlauretha: is playing Aryon, and she's crazy about him as well. So I guess it depends: do you want to risk someone else's version or your own? My husband is a martial artist IRL and will probably play him something like an old honorable martial arts movie character.
I'm grabbing Serul Dathren instead of Eno. I think I would have more fun with the character I've given him, and I get away with just anything because it's not a unique NPC :D He's a monk and more dedicated to communicating with Mephala than going out killing people so that would suit me better.

People always kill Eno in their fanfics, so it would be nice to see him played by someone who cares and hopefully in unpredictable situations.

Hmm, I don't think I've ever read Eno in a fanfic actually - of course, if they don't include a significant dose of Great House Telvanni I tend to lose interest quickly. I'll need to write him in Fall soon though, so I'd be interested to know your precise take on him. I certainly wasn't planning on killing him off, although I do have a bit of dilemma with the whole "writ for Baladas Demnevanni" issue, as I CLEARLY cannot bring myself to kill Baladas off, even being the sadistic writer that I am. Beings that I love drama though, I am sick enough to include that plot aspect, even though anyone who would want to kill him is a terrible less-than-person and I hate them bitterly. Good lord... I still have no idea how I'm going to resolve this... :plotting:

Anyway, if :iconlunar-cerebri: doesn't play him to your liking, let me know and I'll devise a suitable punishment for him. Hehehe... :evillaugh:
